Scott is our Senior Pastor and has served here since April, 2000. Scott’s spiritual gifts are teaching and shepherding. Scott and his wife, Connie, were married in 1980, and Scott has been serving in pastoral ministry since 1984. Scott and Connie have three children. Jared, their oldest is married to Amy and they live in Colorado Springs, where Jared is an auto-mechanic and drummer at his church and Amy teaches ballet. They have two daughters and a son. Their second son, Jeff graduated from college locally at Southwestern College and is married to Molly, and they live in St. George, Utah as part of a church plant. Jeff works as a barber, and Molly stays at home with their daughter. Scott and Connie' daughter, Kelsi, graduated from Moody Bible Institute and is in Dubai, UAE teaching English as a second language.
Scott enjoys reading, cheering the Nebraska Cornhusker football team (his college alma mater, where he became born again) helping others grow in God’s Word, and spending time with his bride, Connie. Scott has an M.Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (1985).

Isaac has a passion for discipleship and how the Gospel transforms every aspect of our lives. He has been on staff with CBF since December 2017. Isaac and his wife, Kate, moved to Winfield in 2014 and have 2 boys, Ethan (3) and Evan (1). Isaac also works full time at the Cowley County Conservation District as the Water Quality Coordinator.
Isaac, originally from Selden, KS, earned his Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University (2014). While at FHSU, Isaac served on staff with Encounter Campus Ministry, worked as a sports official, and enjoyed being a member and president of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
He plans to attend Reformed Theological Seminary and earn his Masters of Divinity through their MDiv From A Distance Program.
Chris has served in the Awana ministry for over 35 years. She has been married to her husband Larry since July of 1978. They have three married daughters; and five grandchildren. All three of their daughters earned their Awana "Timothy" Awards as children!
Chris lives in Douglass, KS where she is a Paraeducator at Seal Elementary. Chris graduated from Calvary Bible College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Local Church Education. Her passion is teaching children, especially the truths that matter for eternity.

Jo has shared the secretary position since July, 2008. Jo and her husband, Gregg have been attending EFC since 1993 when they were invited to bring their 2 girls to Awana. Jo has been involved in children's ministries, Awana Trek leader, Preschool Children's Church teacher and small group ministry. Their oldest daughter, Sara Randall, lives at Fort Leavonworth, KS with her two sons and their two daughters while her husband Dusty is stationed in South Korea . Rachel Talley and her husband, Justin, live in Norman, OK. They have four daughters and one son and are expecting their 6th child in the spring.
Jo enjoys the outdoors, gardening and hiking, reading, knitting and sewing, but most of all visiting her children and grandchildren.

LaTonya is our newest member to join our secretary staff in August 2015! She has been married for 9 years to Chad McGathy. They have two children, a son, Aceon, 8 years old and a daughter, Ella, 4 years old. LaTonya has been involved in Awana serving as the Awana secretary. She is a continuing college student at Cowley College working on a degree in Physical Therapy.
She enjoys tennis, bike riding, and crafts. Her children are active in sports in the community such as; football and dance.

Brent joined the staff of CBF as head janitor in February 2011. He has associate degrees as a machinist and draftsman. He enjoys Bible studies and has the spiritual gifts of discernment, encouragement and hospitality. He also enjoys contra-dancing, Christian retreats and revivals, eating out with friends, old-time hymn sings, being outdoors and manual labor, traveling and is a people person.

Tim joined our staff as our janitor in February of 2011. Tim grew up on a dairy goat farm. The Evangelical Free Church of Winfield has been his home since he was two years old. He was active in the Awana program and received his Timothy award. He was also a member of the Visual Truth mime troop for eight years. He earned the 4H Key award and he is an avid paintball player.
